Adrien Richard Piguet, also known as Papa Goofy, passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 87 in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was born on April 27, 1936, in Switzerland. Adrien was a remarkable individual who lived a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication.

Adrien served in the United States Army for four years during the Korean War, displaying his bravery and commitment to his country. After his military service, he went on to have a distinguished career with the Alhambra Police Department, serving as a Sergeant for 31 years. Following his retirement from the police force, Adrien continued his passion for security by working as a Security Officer at Disneyland for 18 years.

One of Adrien's greatest joys in life was his love for flying. He was a private pilot and embraced every opportunity to explore the world from the skies, whether it be in small aircraft or helicopters. Adrien's zest for life extended beyond his professional pursuits, as he cherished the moments spent with his family. Married to the love of his life for almost 49 years, he treasured every precious moment with his wife and their children.

Adrien, or Papa Goofy as he was affectionately known, possessed a heart of gold and a great sense of humor. He brought joy and laughter to those around him, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His family meant the world to him, and he cherished the time spent with his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Adrien is survived by his beloved spouse, Kathryn Piguet, his daughters Carolyn YBarra and Kim Corsini, as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Piguet Supersaxo, and his father, Adrien Piguet.

A ceremony to honor and celebrate Adrien's life will be held on December 9, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 709 Franklin St, Clarksville, TN 37040.
