Angel Gayle Boone (Rye)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angel Boone, who left us on January 28, 2025, at Vanderbilt Hospital. Angel was born on November 3, 1977, and lived a life that touched everyone around her. Her journey was one filled with love, friendship, and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Angel's career spanned across finance, recruiting, and human resources, where she touched many lives with her professionalism and heartfelt care. But more than her professional accomplishments, it was her genuine kindness, compassion, and dedication to others that truly defined her. To know Angel was to love her, and her spirit and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Andy Boone; bonus mom, Dianne Rye; bonus children, Tosha Boone, Steven (Erica) Boone, Timothy (Savannah) Vestal, Challice Vestal, Angela Vestal, Joyce (Robert) Newman; fourteen beautiful grandchildren; and siblings Amber Heath, Theresa Clanse, and Thomas Smith, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. 

Angel was preceded in death by her late husband, James Cole; her son, Christian Cole; and her father John Rye; and mother Willodene Gossett. 

A celebration of Angel’s life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Baptist Church, 2450 State Highway 48, Clarksville, TN 37040. The family will receive friend on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Angel's name to a charity of choice, as she was always passionate about giving back. 

Rest in peace, Angel. Your love, warmth, and kindness will never be forgotten.
