Bruce Norman Funk
1948-2020
Bruce Norman Funk, age 72 of Clarksville, TN, passed away suddenly of cancer complications at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born April, 5, 1948 in Huntington Park, CA to Rex and Chloe (Christiansen) Funk.
Bruce wore many hats in his lifetime: Airplane Constructor, Lumberjack, Miner, Heavy Equipment Operator, Railroad Engineer, Ordained Deacon, Missionary, Generator Salesman (over 30
years), Rancher, and most recently, a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty.
Bruce and his wife lived their dream of owning a ranch with horses, cows, chickens, and goats. Bruce’s biggest passion in life was serving God through missionary trips to Guatemala and Ecuador. He had a remarkable life full of love of his family and friends.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Diane M. (Driscoll) Funk; sisters, Chloe Ann Eaton of Lincoln, NE, Beverly Stine of LaVerne, CA, Janeene Halle of Wilton, CA; son, Brandon Funk of Casper, WY, Jason Espersen of Austin, TX, Stephen Espersen of Saratoga Springs, UT; and daughters, Alicia Keller of Parker, CO, Kelly Tautua of Ft. Riley, KS. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren.
Visitation services are scheduled for Friday July 3, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fountain of Life Church, 2510 Highway 41A Byp, Clarksville, TN 37043 (across from the Harley Davidson store). Private funeral services for the family will follow from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
