Camille Irene (Falkenburg) Jones

Camille Irene Falkenburg Jones, 83, passed away on September 4, 2023 at Alive Hospice. She was born on  June 21, 1940 in Louisville, KY to William and Irene Olds Falkenburg.

Camille grew up in an old historic home in Louisville, KY. She loved Louisville and celebrating the Derby every year. She was a member of the Middletown Christian Church for many years. Later in life she attended First Baptist Church in Joelton, TN with her daughter. Camille was very committed to supporting younger women in the community, and for over 30 years she encouraged them to live a spiritual lifestyle and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She loved bird watching and flowers, especially magnolia's.

In addition to her parents, Camille is preceded in death by her sister, Joann Bergin; brother, Charles Falkenburg; and son, Alan Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Tom) Boyd of Joelton, TN; son, Scott (Tammy) Jones of Pascagoula, MS; brother, Bill (Becky) Falkenburg of VA; grandchildren: JT Boyd, Angie White, Bradley Jones, Jennifer Jones, Scotty Jones, Lauren Southerland, Ashley Rowland, and Megan Jones; and many great grandchildren.

A Graveside service for friends and family will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery, 701 Baxter Avenue Louisville, KY 40204. Service times will be posted at a later date.
