Christopher Lenn Gezley (Chris) 39 years old, passed away September 26, 2019 in Robertson County. His remains are being cremated. A memorial service has been scheduled for October 20, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at the Robertson National Guard Armory in Springfield TN.

Chris is preceded in death by birth father, Paul H Briley; adopted father, Jimmy J Gezley; Grandparents Bonnie Mae Tanner Goosetree, Jimmy Gezley and Shirley Castelow Gezley.

Chris is survived by his mother, Deborah Russell of Springfield,TN; his son, Carter James Gezley; sisters, Christel Rebollar (Michael) from Springfield, Carrie Richards from Murfressboro, Tosha Gezley from Cross Plains; 3 nieces and 6 nephews; uncle Michael (Mike) Goosetree from Springfield and many friends and family from all over who loved him and will miss him.

Chris was a US Veteran who served in the National Guard and United States Army since he was 18 years old. While stationed in Korea, Afghanistan and Germany, he became fluent in German and Korean. When Chris wasn’t inside playing his favorite video games, he loved being outdoors traveling, fishing, and snowboarding. Chris loved to listen to music, especially rock and heavy metal. He was a big kid at heart who loved to cut up and play pranks on people. Chris never met a stranger and anyone who met him, loved him and his personality.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the Veteran’s Suicide Prevention in Christopher Gezley’s name.
