Dustin Michael Herron

Dustin Michael Herron, age 42, of Chapmansboro, TN, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 3, 2024. He was born in Nashville, TN, on June 1, 1982, to Michael and Linda Herron. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Herron; grandfathers, Glenn Herron and Willie Jenkins; grandmothers, Mary Lou Herron and Daisy Jenkins; and wife, Alicia Herron. He is survived by his father, Michael Herron-the one he said he always looked up to; sisters, Nikki (Benji) Nixon and Chelsea Herron-which he called his “Best Friend”; brother, Chad Herron; daughter, Kalie Herron; son, Dawson Herron-his kids were his whole world; nephews: Ben Nixon, Aiden Herron, and Cullen Boyd; nieces, Pazlee Whited and Hadley Boyd; and many other extended family members. 

It is painful to say goodbye to someone you don’t want to let go. We know that our son, brother, nephew, cousin, and uncle is happy, healthy, and safe with Jesus. He is now seeing life in a different way than he had been for many years and with some of the people he has missed the most. Dustin’s spirit and love will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him. He was kindhearted and loved hard. He is going to be missed by many. 

A Celebration of Life with family will take place at a later time.
