Mattie Pauline (Moody) Rainbolt

Mattie Moody Rainbolt, 67, of Clarksville, Tennessee passed away on February 17, 2022 at her residence. Mattie was born on November 9, 1954 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Emerson (Shirt) Moody and Mattie Louise Jones. She was the widow of Stephen W. Rainbolt.

Mrs. Rainbolt was a Cracker Barrel waitress for 15 years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Bessie Brown; brothers: Roy Wallace, Junior Wallace, Robert Wallace, David Wallace, Michael Moody, and Ricky Moody; and husband, Steve.

Mattie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Gilstrap (Tyson Gulledge); stepdaughter, Angie Rodgers; stepson, Steve Rainbolt; grandchildren: Tayler Race, Erin Race, Lacie Woodley, Kara Gulledge, Austin Gulledge, Cameron Gulledge, Sophie Gulledge, Madelynn Day, and Eryn Touchstone; sister, Rebecca Lucy Newcome; and brother ,Ervin Buster Moody.

Mattie will be cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Mattie asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made for her final
expenses.
