Michael Wayne Gregory

Michael “Mike” Wayne Gregory, Sr., of Springfield, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the age of 66. Mike was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 26, 1957. He lived in Chicago until the late 80’s when he moved to the Nashville, Tennessee area. Mike was a hard working man who loved his life of traveling over the road as a long haul truck driver, driving through nearly every single state in the continental United States. He loved fishing, riding motorcycles, and being with those he loved. Mike was smart as a whip, always making people laugh, and a true hippie at heart. To put it simply, ONE HELL OF A MAN.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Leah Gregory Raimondo (John) and Tina Marie Barner (Shanie); brother, Scott Gregory; sister, Deborah Johnson; 12 grandkids; and four great-grandkids. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Gregory and Joyce Harper; and his son, Michael Wayne Gregory, Jr.

To honor my father’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. I invite you to please privately celebrate Mike’s memory in your own ways. I know that he will be with us all in spirit.
