Michael August Stroecker, Sr.

Michael Stroecker, Sr. was born on November 15, 1951, in Memphis, TN and departed from this world on December 13, 2022.

Michael pursued a career in engineering after graduation and worked in the field for over 25 years. He was employed as an Electrical Engineer at Bryce Corporation for 18 years, before retiring in 2009. He enjoyed finding solutions to complex problems that helped support the manufacturing business.

For leisure, he enjoyed leather working, sketching, playing the guitar, and creating beautiful calligraphy writing. He also cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Michael had often said he was a very blessed and privileged individual. When we remember him, and recall how full of life, laughter and love he was, we can only agree.

He is preceded in death by his loving father, August Stroecker; and mother, Bonnie Sue Nearn. He leaves with us his sons, Michael Stroecker, II and Christian (Brandi) Stroecker; grandchildren: Alex Stroecker, Noah Stroecker, and Samuel Stroecker; brother, Steve (Mary) Stroecker; nephew, Tommy Stroecker; and niece, Rachel Stroecker.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on December 30, 2022, at 11:30 AM CT. The ceremony will be lived streamed on Facebook for family and friends to attend.  Michael will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
