Kirk Crowell, a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated veteran, passed away on December 26, 2023, leaving a legacy of service, commitment, and unwavering love. He was born on October 24, 1963, in Dickson, Tennessee to Betty Sue and Ronnie Crowell.
At the tender age of 18, Kirk answered the call to serve his country and joined the United States Air Force. For 22 and a half years, he dedicated himself to defending the ideals he held dear. Kirk's military career was a testament to his courage, discipline, and patriotism, earning him the respect and admiration of those who served alongside him.
Following his honorable service, Kirk returned to his roots in McEwen, Tennessee, in 2004. Kirk then transitioned to the Tennessee Valley Authority, where he dedicated 14 years of his life. His passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others extended beyond his military service, leaving an indelible mark on the people he encountered.
Kirk is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Lisa Crowell, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his two sons, Travis and Bryce Crowell, who were his pride and a testament to the love and values he instilled in them.
He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Kimberly (Travis's wife), and his grandchildren, Laken (Travis's son) and Creed (Bryce's son). Kirk's presence will be deeply missed by his sisters, Deanna and Tammy; his brother, Clayton; and other relatives and friends.
Kirk will be remembered for his selflessness and the love he showered upon his family and community. His legacy is one of honor, sacrifice, and the enduring power of love. May he rest in peace, and may his family find solace in the cherished memories they shared.
