Clarksville

Nicholas Edward Powell, 59, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on February 21, 2025. Born in Cody, Wyoming, Nick's roots ran deep in the American West.

A devoted husband, father, and family man, Nick met his beloved wife, Ruthie, in Bible college. Together, they shared 28 years of marriage before her passing. Nick's love for his family was evident in the way he raised his four children: William, Rosalee, Keegan, and Blakes, and expanded his family through love and acceptance to include: Sarah, Tyfiedra, Rob, Jacob, Catelyn, Josh, and Kinzy. He was an overjoyed grandpa to Rowan, Ember, Melody, Milliana, Kai, Gabriel, and Robbie. He also loved deeply; a love he shared with his surviving girlfriend and adventure-partner Tammy.

As a pastor-turned-business-owner, Nick's ministry continued through his work as the owner of Nick's Window Washing. His generosity, kindness, and compassion touched countless lives.

As a father, Nick instilled in his children a love for adventure, exploration, and the great outdoors. His legacy is in the wealth of memories and values he passed down to his family. In celebration of Nick's life, we remember his brilliant mind, his love for God, family, country, his dogs, and his infectious laughter.

Nick is survived by his children, grandchildren, older sisters, and a vast network of friends and loved ones. He reunites with his wife, Ruthie, his parents, Blakes and Sharon, and his brother, Kris.

His family invites you to share in their grief and their gratitude for the time they had with this extraordinary man. Memorial service date to be determined.
