Ray L. Miller

Ray L. Miller, 78, of Buchanan, TN, died on December 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born on January 24, 1945 in Canton, IL.

After attending Manual High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He then went on to spend his entire career working in telecommunications for Illinois Bell, Ameritech, SBC, and retiring from AT&T. In his retirement, he did contact work with Lucent, traveling around the world. Ray was a man with many interests: Jeeps, hot air balloons, guns, and too many others to list. He never met a stranger and always had a story to tell.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Betty Belvill. Ray is survived by his daughters, Kim McKinney and Dena (Tod Stookey) Feagin both of Bartonville, IL; grandchildren: Ryan Feagin, Erin McKinney, and Sarah Feagin; siblings: Roger (Libby) Belvill, Raylene (Dale) Rankin, and Billy Miller; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Ceasar.

A Memorial service will be held on a later date.
