Robert Lewis Bell

Robert (Bob) Lewis Bell, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024 at Tennova Hospital. Bob was born in Greensboro, NC to Fred and Lois Heaton Bell on March 23, 1947.

Bob graduated from West End High School in Nashville in 1965 and played football for the University of Kentucky. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force as a communication tech specialist during the VietNam War. Bob enjoyed renovating houses, building decks and fences, and fixing almost anything. But most of all he was an avid college football fan.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Bell Moore and son, Jason Bell. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Anna Felts; son by marriage, Jason (Carmina) Clemons; daughter by marriage, Nova (Joseph) Huff; three grandchildren: Nicholas (Julieonna), Bradley, and Claudia Huff; two great-grandsons, Killian and Elias Huff; and several nieces and nephews.

Bob will be deeply missed by his loving family and we wish to thank all who have so graciously comforted us during this time. Bob’s wishes were to be cremated with only a small family gathering.
