With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Sherry Francine Bowen, who went to be with the Lord while peacefully sleeping at home on September 7, 2024, in Clarksville, Tennessee. She was born on June 5, 1963, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Evadean and Eugene Bowen. Sherry was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Sherry was a resident of Clarksville for over three decades. Sherry worked in factory work for the majority of her life at Quebcore and Metalforge. However, she worked as a florist for quite a few years and very much enjoyed her time at a local flower shop. Sherry enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and camp throughout her lifetime. Sherry had a vibrant personality and a contagious laugh that both her grandchildren inherited. Sherry dearly loved her two cats, Pumpkin and Pretty Girl.
Sherry is preceded in death by her mother, Evadean Bainter; loving sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy and Ron Leslie; and loving brother, Kim Curtis. Sherry is survived by her one and only beloved son, Karl Curtis Bowen (Bridgett Bowen); caring brothers, Dan and Lonny Bowen; loving sister-in-law, Lek Bowen; beautiful grandchildren, William Thomas Bowen and Michelle Eva Rose Bowen; longtime life companion, Joe DiEugenio; and multiple loving nieces, nephews, and many other friends and family members.
A Celebration of Life is being planned to reminisce and remember Sherry Francine Bowen for the near future. Additional details will be posted at a later date.
Please visit Sherry's tribute wall and share a memory with the family.
