Teresa Ann Mize

Teresa Ann Mize, age 56, passed away on January 22, 2022, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was born on June 23, 1965, in Fort Estes, VA to William E. Mize and Janice Fae Cariani Mize.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David W. Mize; stepson, Jimmie Dewayne Johnson; grandparents; and aunts.
She is survived by her brother, William E. Mize, Jr. (Julie) from Somerville, TN; sisters, Nora Minsaas (Michael) from Clarksville, TN and Stacy Alvis ( John) from Millington, TN; nieces: Rebecca Thames, Amanda Mize and Kayla Trammell; nephews: Anthony Mize, James Mize, Thomas Perkins and Michael Harrison; great nephews: Tye Smock, Ethan Perkins, Dakota Johnson, and Jeremiah Thames; great nieces: Summer Johnson, Tamera Johnson, Casimira Thames, Alicia Johnson, Robyn Johnson, Bethany Mize, Skylar Perkins, and Lexi Harrison; stepson, Shaun Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Teresa loved her dogs ( fur babies) and her family. They were her everything.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life service for her in early Spring.
