William Ernest Lucas, Jr.

 William E. Lucas, Jr. passed away of cardiac arrest on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the age of 76. He was a native of Louisville, KY and is survived by his cousin, Carolyn Sue Shely; step-daughter, Corina Ravenscraft; and his best friend for 48 years, Bettye S. Holte. Bill was a graduate of APSU and an award-winning potter/ceramicist. In his spare time, he enjoyed falconry, gardening, and fishing. He had a quick wit and dry sense of humor, and cared deeply about nature, wildlife, his family, and friends. Though he may be gone, he will be missed and never be forgotten.
