1953-2021

On Monday, April 5, 2021, Cynthia Irelan, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 67. Cindy was born on December 25, 1953 in Great Falls, Montana to Walt and Josephine (Gallagher) Cosgrove. On July 8, 1972, she married Edmond Ernest Irelan. They raised their two daughters, Wendy and Peggy. They went on to live in 8 different states in the U.S. before settling in Tennessee in 1988.

Cindy never knew a stranger, with the ability to talk to anyone about anything, she had the "gift of gab". Known for her quick wit, infectious smile, her kind and compassionate spirit and her love of life. She was an avid animal lover and there were always several pets in the house.

She is survived by her husband, Ed, two children; sister, Pat; brother, Sean, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, two cats and one dog.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later time for close friends and family.
